Professor Rebecca Earley, Co-Director of CCD, joins us to talk about her project - The CharioCity Workshops - and how you can get involved.
The project is a UAL-funded knowledge exchange project with the aim of uncovering the impact that COVID-19 has created on the UK charity shop sector, and to reimagine how systemic design education can help to ‘build back better’. The objective is to work alongside stakeholders and customers of second-hand shops and develop new, transformative approaches for education that can help make the sector more resilient in the future. The project is being delivered in conjunction with Circle Economy Amsterdam for World Circular Textiles Day 2050.
