Circular Soirée with Jessica Hemmings

To kick off our Circular Soirées lecture series, we invited Jessica Hemmings, current Professor of Craft & Vice-Prefekt of Research at HDK-Valand, University of Gothenburg, Sweden, to give a lecture to our MA Textile students on her book 'Cultural Threads'. In response to requests from our TABA event and more recent Circular discussion groups, we asked Jessica to explore the role of indigenous communities in sustainable development from a textile perspective.
