Design Practice Research

02/11/22, 10–11am

The Social Design Institute have created a framework for design practice research to support the development, assessment and communication of practice research. The paper and supporting films are available on the SDI website. A discussion about the framework took place on 2 November, at CSM, where Becky and John O'Reilly (Senior Lecturer Practice as Research / Teaching and Learning Exchange) responded by reflecting on their practice and experience. Becky identified potential strengths and gaps, by analysing two REF submissions - the Service Shirt (Mistra Future Fashion) and Fashion Fascias (Trash-2-Cash).
