Fashioned From Nature, V&A Museum

21/04/18 – 27/01/19, 10am–6pm

V&A Museum puts paper fashion prototype 'Pulp-It' on display.

Fashioned From Nature was the first UK exhibition to explore the complex relationship between fashion and nature from 1600 to the present day. The exhibition was a collection of fashionable dress alongside history specimens, taxidermy, unprocessed plant and animal fibres and invited visitors to think about the materials of fashion and the sources of their clothes.

Kate Goldsworthy and Kay Politowicz worked directly with V&A curator Edwina Ehrman to select one of the paper-like textile garments developed in the Mistra Future Fashion project for inclusion in the showcase.
