There & Back Again

It’s always a pleasure to explore the common threads of the different research projects within the centre; it broadens and connects the thinking, giving the Centre a strong evolving identity. There and Back Again was conceived by two CCD PhD students who wanted to explore different design approaches to End of Life and in doing so provide all of the Centre’s researchers the opportunity to view their work through a different lens. As part of UAL’s research fortnight, the seminar was also a way of sharing the CCD’s work-in-progress with other academics as well as the wider community. Sophie Thomas was the inspiring Day Two Keynote which kicked off an MA workshop led by the PhDs.
